Audio Project

I find it hard to work in groups. I had a great group of people to work with on this project, but this project was due right before Thanksgiving break, and people wanted to leave early. Originally, there was suppose to be four interviews and each person was going to have a commercial...that's not what ended up happening. As you know, our audio assignment was about the journey of NC State athletes. I interviewed Alexia Mieck from the Volleyball team on two separate occasions because Audacity was not working for me. When  I told my team that I was going to have to record it from my IPhone (like you told me to do) they didn't agree because it was not going to be easily converted into Audacity for editing. They requested that I try again, using Audacity.

I was not able to get the interview for a third time, on Alexia's schedule. So, I submitted my commercial on time, and was not able to meet up with Alexia before they turned the project in.  I feel like I contributed 110% in this project but because people wanted to leave early for break and I could not get Audacity to work, my work did not appear in the project. If anything I did more work because I did multiple interviews with the same person, trying to get Audacity to work.

I think my commercial was good. I did my commercial on The College Inn and I think it sounded pretty professional. I tried to get in a small, quiet place to record my audio, and I think I did a better job than I did on my audio visual assignment. The sound effects I added in sounded good (in my opinion) and I was proud of the commercial I turned in. So, had we been given more time (or my teammates didn't want to leave school early) I think my name would have appeared more in this assignment, but that is not how things worked out.
